How to update the field app

Keeping the PickTrace field app up to date with the latest version ensures that your devices are operating efficiently and reduces the probability of downtime in the field and inaccuracies in your data.

Follow these steps to update the field app on a PickTrace device:

1. Identify the devices that need updating by reviewing all your devices on the Devices page on the PickTrace website.
2. Open the PickTrace app on one of the devices that need updating, and click the gear icon to access the settings.
3. Click on the About button to access the version settings.
4. Click on the Update Now button to download the latest version. The field app will restart and your device will now be on the latest version.
