4/11 Pay Period Locking

Starting on Thursday 4/11, users with Full Access to the Payroll module will be able to lock past pay periods and prevent any changes to time cards and production records during locked periods.

There will also be a new error type available in the advanced search for Timecards that will allow to search for blocked changes to records tied to a locked pay period.

What does this mean for you? 

1. You'll have greater control over access to payroll data
2. You'll have an easy way to identify attempted updates to locked data

Recommendations

1. Make sure only the correct users have Full Access to the Payroll module.
2. Add a search for blocked changes to your time card auditing process to pinpoint any anomalies throughout the week.
